We're always looking for more volunteers to help with maintenance of the island. Each Saturday morning rotating teams meet at 9:00am at the pond. We load up the lawn mowers and other equipment into our small boat and set sail for the island. No experience necessary, just show up...we will train!
No time on Saturday? Contribute to the pond's maintenance as you are able by cleaning up litter and placing it in the several trash barrels located throughout the park. Thank you!

Lynn TV reported on the Planting Day on May 27, 2023. Check out this great video.
Planting Day was May 27th. We had beautiful weather and good group of volunteers. The center island looks great!
Use of the planking from Lynn Ladder to cross to the island always makes this job very manageable.
Our personalized Goldfish Pond Dancing Men are on timers and spaced throughout the day.
We have noticed a significant decrease in birds.
Bird feces contributes to the abundant algae blooms at the pond. Do not feed the birds.
Trish Greene and Ted Smiley discuss the upcoming Planting Day Saturday May 27th, 2023. This was taped on Wednesday May 10th, 2023.
In 2022 the GPA purchased 4 personalized crosswalk signs to place around the park area. We put them away in the winter (snow/plows) and we put them back out in the Spring.
Thank you all so much for your support of the first ever Goldfish Pond Duck Race. We had a lot of laughs for sure. See our Facebook Page for a video of the 1st duck race and be sure to turn up the sound, the play by play call of the race is priceless.
Hopefully 2023 with your support we can do a 3rd race since this was quite a popular event.
Vendors: Thank you all for attending the Goldfish Pond Flea Market. We had about 60 vendors with tables selling all sorts of goods and services. The vendors make this possible and thank you for coming back every year.
Fun: We had Boat Rides for kids; Raffles with prizes donated from many local businesses; a Duck Race; a Bake Table; Pizza slices from Shoreline Grill; Pastelitos from Rincon Macorisano; and all sorts of great food from the newly opened Golden Monkey Cafe. We had over 1,500 people make their way through this popular yearly event.
Music: Thank you Mac, Haley and Sunil for putting together the music for the flea market. They kept it fresh with an assortment of musicians throughout the day. Coco did a great job as the master of ceremonies!
Raffle: Thank you to Bonnie Mercier for gathering and putting together the raffle prizes this year.

The Goldfish Pond Fun and Flea Day is the neighborhood association's one time fundraiser. How does the Flea market work? Table space is rented to vendors, no experience necessary! It is a great chance to clean out your old stuff and make new friends. Over 5,000 people attend this great Lynn event. That's a lot of people! Better than running your own yard sale.
